Dr. Mary Beth E. Sutkowski

The Owner and Chief Medical Officer of Paragon Clinical, Dr. Mary Beth Sutkowski, is a Board Certified Internist and native of the Chicago metropolitan area. She received her medical degree and completed her Residency at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, where she was asked to stay an additional year as Chief Resident. She completed a two year Fellowship in Internal Medicine at Loyola University / Hines VA Hospitals where she researched coronary risk prediction models and co-authored a study that was printed in the American Heart Journal in 1999. She worked 13 years at Advocate’s Dreyer Medical clinic, pioneering their first Skilled Nursing Home Rounding Program.

Dr. Sutkowski has held medical directorships in nursing homes and hospice groups as well as serving on Quality Assurance and Utilization Management Committees. She has spent the last year serving as Paragon’s Medical Director, working with an outstanding team of caring and talented professionals who are driven by a passion for delivering quality health care to the elderly. She has helped develop medical infrastructures for Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living Residences in the Chicagoland area. She also works as a SNFist and is part of a telemedicine program that provides remote, after-hours clinical care in nursing homes in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Dr. Sutkowski has a passion for providing state of the art medical care and medical management systems for the elderly/disabled.

For the past ten years she has coordinated apostolic programs for young boys, specifically reaching out to the poor, sick and elderly, and leads a weekly bible study. Dr. Sutkowski enjoys getting away with her husband, Bob, and two sons, Danny and Jonathan, to pursue outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and white water rafting.
